Modifies or implements new configurations to the computer system and other software packages. Recommends and implements configuration changes to improve the overall efficiency of system processing. Develops and executes appropriate test plans to verify that configuration changes work as intended. Documents and tracks configuration changes. Maintains thorough understanding of computer equipment, operating software, and command language. Must possess an understanding of data processing concepts, operating systems, utility programs, job monitoring tools, and operating procedures. 

Position to play key role in Cost Containment application development. Other responsibilities include, streamlining manual adjudications processes, seek out ways to improve FI/PI accuracy metric, and ensuring all existing applications and future development adhere to compliance regulations. Other notable goals include production support and PMO support of ICST led initiatives. 

Projected goals include completion of Cost Containment end state infrastructure, statewide implementation of collections tool, and technology related processes to support development of future avoidance algorithms .

1) Maintain current code for the virtual processor application in our CO claims operation. 
2) Develop new code and test the code as required. 
3) Ensure the virtual processor application and associated hardware function properly. 
4) Work with the business and IT experts as needed when new requirements are determined.
