This well-known banking institution are now looking to take on board a VB Developer opportunity
Reporting to the team lead and manager within Operations your duties will include the following:
* Analyse, develop and testing, encompassing VB mainly, Database technologies and some Web technologies
* Full knowledge of the Software Development life cycle and the ability to demonstrate each area.
* Documentation to be written for all areas of the development life cycle for all changes
* Provide production support as required.
To be considered the following is a must:
* Visual Basic Technologies.
* SQL development (MS SQL preferable) - creation and maintenance of database objects, experience in identifying and correcting performance issues using execution plans, profiler, locking, indexing and performance monitoring.
* Testing - competence in designing and executing unit & integration tests.
* Good communication skills - verbal and written
