VAT Representative

Our client, a major blue chip company requires a VAT Representative on an 8 month fixed term contract.

The Vat/Compliance Team is responsible for submission of Vat/Intrastat Returns for countries within the EMEA Region (Europe, Middle East and Africa). At present our client is registered in 28 countries for Vat within EMEA.

In this highly charged role, the individual will be responsible for preparing Vat Returns, 8th Directive claims, forecasting cash flows, analysing variances, import/export and other accounting duties. Working with several different currencies, the successful candidate will be able to provide accurate and detailed information to support the returns. This role will involve frequent communication with internal departments and outside customers.

- Strong accounting skills
- Analytical and Numerical skills
- Great computer skills, including MS Excel/Word
- Ability to multi-task and adhere to tight dead lines
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a team player
- Previous VAT processing/submission experience is a must.
