We are looking for a qualified Valuer.

Job purpose
To recruit a Commercial Valuation Surveyor to start a temporary contract immediately. You will be working within the Property Services team reporting into the Estates Services Manager.

You may be required to assist with all aspects of property management, including undertaking disposals, valuations, negotiations, letting of property, rent reviews, lease renewals, rental collections, asset management and other statutory claims. Some of the key immediate tasks will involve; undertake and negotiate rent reviews and lease renewals and undertake inspections and capital asset valuations.

In order to be suitable for this role you must have experience in property management, valuation and the management of commercial property. You should be MRICS registered.

This temporary assignment is likely to last for three months with the potential for extension.

Accountabilities
Management of commercial property and other assets owned or occupied.
Valuation of Assets for Capital accounting purposes
Disposal of surplus assets in accordance with Standing orders

Functional competencies
Experience of Commercial Estate management
Experience of Agency work on Commercial property
Experience of property inspection, dilapidations and s146 notices
Experience of formal "RICS Red book" valuations
Knowledge of risk assessments and H & S practice within a property office
Knowledge of Budget management and financial returns
