Validation Technician Job

Yoh has a CONTRACT position for a VALIDATION TECHNICIAN to join our client in Hillsboro, OR.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Validation Technician will be responsible for the validation of board functionality.
- Validation Technician will also debug board issues and soldering reworks on the boards as needed.
- Engage with the Engineering teams in testing and test cases execution.
- Properly validate platforms (power deliver, signal integrity, functional validation, etc.)
- Validation Technician will also be expected to set up systems, take electrical memory data measurements for signal integrity.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- AS IN EE OR RELATED SUBJECT OR FIVE (5) PLUS YEARS RELATED EXPERIENCE
- MINIMUM TWO (2) OR MORE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE OF MEASURING POWER AND/OR SIGNAL INTEGRITY
- MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH SMT SOLDERING
- Expertise in problem-solving, analysis, and on information/computer systems
- Excellent skills in troubleshooting software and hardware problems
- Hands on HW validation experience
- Working with engineering platforms, installing operating systems, soldering and oscilloscopes.

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:

- AS or BS Degree
- Experience with the installation, monitoring, testing and troubleshooting of an Android platform.
- Signal Integrity Testing experience
