Validation Engineer - RTL Job

VALIDATION ENGINEER - RTL needed for a contract-to-hire opportunity with Yoh's client located in Chandler, AZ.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Validation Engineer will develop pre-Silicon functional validation tests to verify system will meet design requirements.
- Validation Engineer will create test plans for RTL validation, defining and running system simulation models, and finding and implementing corrective measures for failing RTL tests.
- Validation Engineer will analyze and use results to modify testing.
- Validate designs at block or full-chip level by authoring validation plans, writing focus tests, creating templates defining coverage strategies, developing and analysing coverage monitors.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS EE, Computer Science or related subject
- Five (5+) years of experience in the area of either hardware design or verification
- Three (3+) years of pre-si verification work using a validation methodology such as UVM, Specman E, VMM, AVM.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- MSEE/CS Preferred
- System Verilog/Assertions
