JOB SUMMARY

Our client is looking for an experienced enterprise Datawarehouse (EDW) and Business Intelligence (BI) professional to lead data integration, reporting, and analytics functions. This role is responsible for architecture, design, and development of Business Intelligence and analytic systems and solutions. This lead position will take the inventory of existing reports, dashboards, and analytics and assess the relevancy and currency of these and propose BI/reporting/analytic solutions as appropriate. Work closely with key business users, IT partners, and EDBI (Enterprise Data and Business Intelligence) team and understand BI requirements. Prepare business case and get necessary approvals to implement proposed BI solutions. Responsible for development of reporting/BI standards, metadata associated with reports, reports data lineage, and reports quality. Work closely with Enterprise Data Management (EDM) team and participate in data governance processes. This role is also responsible for master data integration and reporting needs arising from mergers and acquisitions. This role will provide input for the development of standards, guidelines, processes and expertise to consistently address recurring strategic enterprise reporting/BI/data integration needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Interact with key business users and understand BI/Analytics requirements
- Formulate BI/Analytics strategy for NCR
- Design, develop, and deliver reports, dashboards, and data visualization tools and solutions
- Participate in design and development of data integration of master data and transactional data
- Design, develop, and deliver data integration solutions
- Take inventory of existing reports and dashboards and assess the relevancy and currency of these reports
- Establish BI/Analytics/reports governance process and framework
- Establish reports quality, coverage, and access metrics
- Establish reports metadata, report catalogs, report standards, and best practices
- Work with data architects and participate in data governance process
- Provide input to standards, guidelines, processes and expertise to consistently address recurring strategic enterprise reporting/BI needs.
- Work with PMO, data management, EDBI operations and IDC teams to deliver projects within budgets and timelines

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Must have Lead EDW or BI initiatives
- Excellent communication skills
- Leadership qualities and ability to influence/communicate with C-Level executives
- Must have managed a team of 8-10 people
- Worked as Sr. Architect/Manager/Director of EDW/BI for Fortune 500 companies
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in: Business analysis, business process, Data integration, Business intelligence tools
- 5+ years' experience with designing dashboards and analytics
- 5+ years of experience in data profiling and data analysis
- 5+ years of experience in data integration using tools like Informatica/BTEQ/MultiLoad/TPUMP
- 5+ years of experience in BI tools like Business Objects/Microsoft BI/Hyperion
- 5+ years SQL skills, experience with Teradata, DB2 or SQL Server
- Experience in master data integration pertaining to mergers and acquisitions is preferred
- BS/MS in Information Technology/Engineering/Math/Science
