UX Specialist - Brussels - 12 months contract

One of our clients is looking for a UX specialist for Brussels. This is a 12 months freelance contract and the day rate is negotiable.

PLEASE FIND THE SPEC BELOW:

Function: UX Specialist (HTML/CSS/JavaScript/TypeScript
- Creating reusable responsive user interface components;
- Migrating from AngularJS to Angular 2+;
- Upgrading old Web front-ends so they are functional in all modern Web browsers.
- Writing technical documentation regarding the UX aspects of the Web Apps framework.

Passion for user experience and user interface design is a must.

Working hours Normal working hours: 5 days from Monday until Friday (7h36 per day)

Capable of writing documentation in English.

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE

- Experience: In depth knowledge and at least 3 years of experience in creating Web front-ends for mobile & desktop devices using HTML5/CSS3 and applying Responsive Web Design/mobile-first approach.
- At least 2 years of experience and good knowledge of Angular (2+), TypeScript and Angular Material.
- Experience and knowledge of Progressive Web Apps is a plus.
- Knowledge of CSS processors (eg, PostCSS, SASS) is a plus.
- Knowledge of RESTful Web services is a plus.
- The chosen candidate will act as a coach towards the project teams and should as such have good technical documentation writing and communication skills.
