UX Designer

Position Description:
Our client in the Missouri area is looking for two experienced Designers within the Healthcare domain. This position will be responsible for analysing blurbs from customers and designing the necessary software functionality and features of it should live on the screen (UX/UI). This is an extremely user-oriented role able to take on many additional responsibilities as part of a small team. It is starting as a 6-12+ month project based in Springfield, MO, and Malvern, PA.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- 3+ years UI/UX Design experience (strong understanding of how to design a screen, design principles, UX, etc.)
- ICD-9 and/or ICD-10 experience
- Very User-oriented: Extensive past experience communicating with users. This is a small shop, so this is a very user-oriented role
- 3+ years Healthcare experience (Medical software strongly desired. EMR and/or practice management a plus)
- Leadership experience helping entire team (developers, testers, etc.) adjust to new methodologies
- Ability to meet deadlines on a project-based contract
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills. Ability to coordinate with all parties on a constant basis
- Agile experience and complete understanding of SDLC

BONUS SKILLS:

- HTML5 experience for design a plus
- Familiarity of Cooper design principles
