Utilities Data Governance Specialist - Utilities

A new exciting role has opened for an experienced Data Governance Specialist to work on a 6 month contract in Solihull for a large utilities client.

*Location: Solihull, West Midlands,
*Frequent travel will be required to attend many of Gas Distribution's key locations.
*A full clean driving license is essential.
*Start Date: ASAP
*Interview Dates: ASAP

Essential Skills: (must have the below to be considered)

*Experience of working across Gas Distribution at a senior level
*Experience of developing strategy and frameworks
*An understanding of data within Gas Distribution or working knowledge of Data Governance Frameworks
*Data Governance
*Project management
*Prince 2 or equivalent

Key Tasks

* Collaborate across Gas Distribution to develop a current state assessment of data governance

* Use the data from the assessment to develop a clear ambition and route map to deliver the appropriate data governance framework for Gas Distribution

* Build and manage a stakeholder plan to successfully deliver the data governance framework

* Understand and operate within Information Management Framework and be the key point of contact for Gas Distribution for the IMF

* Work with key stakeholders to develop the Data Governance framework for Gas Distribution

* Undertake a Data Governance pilot and taking the lessons learnt undertake a phased rollout for Gas Distribution
