User Researcher - Digital - User Journeys - Agile - Newcastle

Digital User Researcher required for a Government organisation based in the North East.

Candidates must have practical experience of qualitative research methodologies including taking a lead User Researcher role within a team, setting research direction and mentoring junior research colleagues.

Experience required should include:-
Proven experience of managing and executing User Research, ability to quickly understand the strategic context of the service in development and to define hypotheses to be tested with users, ability to define user journeys, experience of developing personas, able to capture user requirements, experience of testing on devices other than desktop computers (smartphones and tablets etc) and have experience of outlining process flows.

Candidates will also have experience of applying knowledge in human factors, ethnography and the user centred design process to product and service design in an iterative development background and proven experience of working in an agile environment.

The role will be based in Newcastle and run for 6 months initially with a rate of circa 450- 550 per day.
