User Experience (UX) Design and Ergonomics Specialist

For our International Organisation client in The Hague we are looking for a User eXperience (UX) design and ergonomics specialist.to provide consultancy and design services.

Tasks to be performed are:

- Offer UX support for project teams and specifically in the context of work packages that require UX input regarding external stakeholder solutions - advice on processes, methods or end-user requirement definition.
- Perform user research and task analysis when required by the project team in the analysis phase 
- Specify user requirements and create user scenarios when they are missing and when required by the project team in the analysis phase of the work packages that apply to external users
- Contribute to and validate use cases in the analysis phase 
- Create wire frames in line with the already existing UI designs 
- Contribute to the UI pattern library
- Provide UX support to third-party implementers, responsible for the development of the project during all phases 
- Design usability tests to evaluate solution candidates in collaboration with usability specialists operating in Common Build Services unit
- Create UX documentation in line with the already existing UX documentation platform
- Steer and validate implementations against the user requirements in the development and testing phases 

Candidates should have the following skills and experience

- Education in a relevant discipline at Masters level or higher
- Five years or more experience in the field of UX (including research, user interface design and software ergonomics)
- Able to define, plan and execute a UX process
- Proven track record in UX consultancy for business enterprise solutions
- Able to apply waterfall and agile development processes
- Experience of working with a Case Management System
- Able to operate at a conceptual level
- Experience providing coaching and holding workshops
- Knowledge of user wants and needs of external stakeholders (eg applicants, attorneys, paralegals) would be considered a serious advantage
- Consultancy, ie providing well informed advice
- Experience of working with third party integrators (while representing client interests)
- Excellent level of English (spoken as well as written). Good level of German would be considered an advantage.
- Experience with government/public-body organisations
- Experience in a multinational environment
