User Experience Developer

USER EXPERIENCE DEVELOPER AUSTIN, TX 6 MONTH CONTRACT

Our high-visibility client is seeking a User Experience Developer to provide analysis and prototyping of bank-facing applications for web/mobile. Must have skills include HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript. Candidates must also have understanding of UX and the design techniques and principals involved in the production of conceptual prototypes, wireframes, and HTML Prototypes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design engaging, usable, and accessible UX interactions for the web and mobile this can be in the form of wireframes, visuals, code and/or technical notes
- Analyze existing software (web and mobile) for Usability and Accessibility issues and provide recommendations for improvement
- Work with diverse team of product owners, UX designers, and developers in fast paced environment, with quick iterative cycles

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Bachelor's degree in Design, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience required
- Wireframe samples and/or links to pages you have built required
- HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript required
- Understanding of UX and the design techniques and principals involved in the production of conceptual prototypes, wireframes, and HTML Prototypes required
- Knowledge of Adobe products including Photoshop and Illustrator required
- Web Standards and Accessibility Best Practices required
- Ability to analyze written requirements and visually conceptualize the user interface and application flows
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time
- Responsive Design Principles a plus
- Financial or payment industry experience preferred
