RESPONSIBILITIES

- Takes a detailed wireframe as input and produces a polished visual mockup that complies with a visual design standard, including (as applicable) color palette usage, branding, textures, shapes, edges, gradients, shadows, imagery, layout, and typography.
- Uses tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create and manipulate images to create professional deliverables
- Understands and applies general visual design principles, such as color compatibility, visual hierarchy, balance, and white space usage
- Contributes to visual design strategy for projects
- Contributes creative ideas for making designs and design standards better
- Ensure all product designs meet usability objectives and user requirements
- Works closely with the engineering and QA teams to ensure that the implementation matches designs.
- Deliver UI recommendations in the form of documentation, suggested page designs, story-boards, or a moderate level of prototyping
- Generalize usability findings to apply to corporate UI standards and consistency with other products

SKILLS

- Experience with user experience methodologies such as user experience design, prototype development in a similar role.
- Understanding of information architecture and interaction design principles and best practices.
- Solves basic interaction problems with limited supervision
- Strong Communication skills
- Demonstrated track record of attention to detail.
- Proficiency with creating mock ups, wireframes, and flow diagrams
- Strong experience w/User research, testing, & evaluations
- Proficient in Adobe and Photoshop and able to edit and manipulate images
