URGENT CONTRACT - ODI Developer - West Yorkshire - £350 - £400 per Day - 6 months +

A leading multi-national investment company is looking for an ODI contractor to join their team to help with the development of their new BI Strategy plan

Key Deliverables:

- Leverage Oracle Data Integrator to improve data extracts from source systems into the EDW.
- Design and implement ODI Extract, Load and Transform (ELT) processes, programs and scripts. Design of data warehouse tables, including source to target mappings, configuration of ODI knowledge modules.
- Develop and document the ODI ELT process. Help in Creation and maintenance of the source to Client data mappings, ELT specifications and complex transformation rules and technical documentation.
- Assist in developing and publishing data management standards, policies and procedures, including the management and maintenance of related tools and environments.
- Collaborate with existing BI Technical Team and Oracle Database Administrators for the Warehouse database design, data model, storage, security, performance and data environment requirements.
- Plan for conversion of existing data extract processes for Group applications and Legacy data warehouse to EDW.

- Build an engaging, trusting and dependable relationship with stakeholders and colleagues
- Risks and issues are managed and highlighted through the appropriate channels
- Ensuring all key documentation completed and to a high quality and meets business & Audit requirements- as evidenced by multiple stakeholder sign offs.
- Participate in peer reviews on specifications, design and code.
- Working with the project team to ensure robust end to end build, testing, training and implementation
- Participate in regular team meetings in addition to project status meetings, providing updates on assigned issues and actions, plan integration and implementation.
- Ensure compliance with Sox, Data Protection, Money Laundering, Treating the Customer Fairly (TCF) and my clients requirements

Person specification:

- Excellent stakeholder management
- Extensive knowledge of and development with ODI.
- Extensive knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL.
- Knowledge of OBIEE 10g and/or OBIEE 11g is advantageous.
- Ability to interpret requirements and technical specifications and translate them into visual representations of information.
- Hands on experience in Data Warehousing such as EDW design and implementation, dimensional modelling, star and snowflake schemas and data-marts, slowly changing dimensions.
- Must have a very good understanding of the ODI Architecture and setting up Master and Work repositories.
- Must have solid experience in creating Interfaces to move data from source to target schema.
- Must be experienced in creating and writing cleansing routines to work with ODI Interfaces while creating load plans.
- Manage and monitor production ELT, manage and monitor non-production ELT sessions and ascertain success of steps or failures with root cause analysis.
- Understandinformation and analytics delivery; and data quality strategy).
- Setting up, debugging and implementing end-to-end ELT jobs. Performance tuning of ODI ELT Mappings. Develop unit, system, and integration test plans.
- Previous experience working for a financial/leasing company is advantageous.
