Upstream Process Engineer Job

UPSTREAM PROCESS ENGINEER needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in West Greenwich, RI.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Advanced understanding of regulatory and cGMP requirements
- Experience in drug substance process development

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Apply fundamental scientific principles to cell culture processes in-order to execute technology transfer projects, resolve processing issues, and conduct technical assessment on process/product impact due to changes in equipment, scale, and raw materials.
- Lead technology transfer, technical support and troubleshooting of clinical and commercial drug substance manufacturing.
- Provide leadership for cross functional project teams, designing and executing experimentation to support process scale up
- Authoring and reviewing GMP documentation

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Six (6) years of experience in drug substance process development, characterization and commercial process support.
- Possess advanced understanding of regulatory and cGMP requirements
- Able to apply engineering principles and statistical analysis, including design of experiments, in-order to solve processing issues and evaluate opportunities for process improvements.
