UNIX SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR (FTP/UNIX/SHELL/SCRIPTING/REDHAT LINUX)

A well-known leading company based in Hampshire are looking for a Unix Systems Administrator to join their team on a 6 month contract.

The Unix Administrator (FTP/Unix/Shell Scripting/Redhat Linux)will be working on a FTP migration project managing the end to end migration from an existing server to a new solution.

Required experience:

- UNIX administration (particularly SunOS & Redhat Linux)
- Korn Shell Scripting
- FTP protocol exposure and competence (FTP, SFTP, Connect:Direct, HTTPS and others)
- Good knowledge of UNIX tools (mailx, SED, AWK, nawk etc.)
- Good knowledge of key authentication
- Experience with shared storage solutions (particularly NAS)
- Oracle exposure and basic troubleshooting
- Experience with any MFT (Managed File Transfer) products would be beneficial (particularly Sterling File Gateway)
- Experience with working on tools in the de-militarised zone (DMZ) would be beneficial
- Windows user/administration beneficial
