Unix SQL Software developer/ Business Analyst Stirling Banking

I am seeking an experienced technical Software developer/ Business Analyst with strong Unix & SQL knowledge, with good understanding of the full project life cycle, to join my investment banking client based in StirlingScotland. You will be joining a very strong Application configuration development team with 4 new hires under their belt within the last 3 months, so this team is strong, stable and investing heavily in its future.

We are looking for someone from a technical background, probably as a developer or programmer, who can also interface with the business as a BA. You will be running the business analysis and requirements gathering for all TLM application configuration projects. Your role will also include the analysis of data and software interfaces, as well as TLM application configuration and System integration testing: test preparation and execution. This is a permenent role, based in StirlingScotlandwith a salary of up to £50,000.

Requirements

* Software development background essential
* Experience as a BA/ requirements gathering very beneficial
* Unix & SQL Essential
* Understanding of banking concepts and experience of financial applications, ideally reconciliations
* TLM Configuration experience highly beneficial although not essential since training can be given to the ideal candidate if required
* Software design and development
* Developing involving financial services data - eg. reconciliations, core banking systems, market data
* Business exposure to financial services data ideally gained in an investment banking area - eg. fund accounting exposure, or exposure to swift messages, or exposure to trade related data
