Skills and experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the field.
- Excellent programming skills, good familiarity with UNIX and experience with progress development application
- Experience with Java, XML and UML are considered as very nice to have.
- Knowledge of Datamodelling tools, Open Edge 10, Database trigger, Message Queuing, API and Source Managements tools is a plus.
- Having experience in programming with Progress is considered as a strong asset.
- You work well-organised and you are detail-oriented.
Description of work:
- Design and develop software modules according to the specifications.
- Provide input to improve the quality and functionality of the development. This also means executing and validating unit and regression tests.
- Ensure a good balance between quantity and quality within the development budget.
- Communicate the development progress and issues to the direct manager.
- Ensure the use of development standards and create technical documentation.
