Unix Engineer

FOR OUR CLIENT, AN INTERNATIONAL FINANCIAL INSTITUTION BASED IN ZÜRICH WE ARE CURRENTLY SEEKING A SENIOR UNIX ENGINEER WITH SPECIFIC CENTRIFY KNOWLEDGE FOR A CONTRACT POSITION BASED IN ZÜRICH.

DESCRIPTION:

- Design, configure and implement a Restricted Shell environment based on the Centrify tool chain (Direct Access and Direct Control) as a measure to protect the Unix server environment from direct access to the servers.
- Create the design of the restricted shell environment and validate the design with the engineering team.
- Provide Centrify know-how to prepare the documents to gain Risk and Legal approval for the proposed design
- Support the definition and implementation of the Centrify Restricted Shell related processes
- Support the configuration of the Direct Access and Direct Control (Centrify) agent and prepare the deployment
- Support the Banks test processes and ensure that the implementation meets the quality standards
- Assist to define and setup local infrastructure to be used as the testlab
- Assist to define the command set used by the operation teams and implement the commands
- Provide Centifry training for all affected business units

SKILLS

- Degree in IT (ideally with a focus on Software Engineering)
- At least 10 years work experience in Unix system engineering and system administration
- At least 4 years work experience in designing and implementing the Centrify tool chain
- Advanced Centrify Direct Access and Direct Control engineering know-how
- Architectural capabilities to create a Restricted Shell design based on Centrify
- Advanced Unix system engineering and system administration experience
- Fluency in English, German skills are an asset
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to provide training sessions according to the customer needs
