Unix (AIX, Linux, Solaris) System Engineer

My Brussels based client has an urgent requirement for a UNIX System Engineer with experience in AIX, Solaris and Linux for an initial 9 month contract to the end of 2013.
The Department is responsible for the architecture, infrastructure and operation of the AIX, Solaris and Red Hat Linux platforms.
The role will encompass the day-to-day operation of the Solaris platform and the migration of the Solaris platform onto Linux by the end of 2014.
Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role and proven experience fo working on a UNIX/Solaris platform. In addition experience of Red Hat Linux and Shell Scripting is required. Any knowledge of clustering (Veritas), NFS, Kerberos, LDAP and Perl Scripting would be advantageous.
Candidates must be able to communicate in either French OR Dutch and education to degree level would be beneficial. This is potentially a long term assignment with a multinational financial institution.
