Underwriter Coordinator - 3 Month Contract - New Grads

UNDERWRITER COORDINATOR

Department Overview/Description:
Pricing and Underwriting is responsible for generating renewal and prospect rates and reports for employer groups of 51+ eligible employees. Our internal customers are Account Managers and external customers are Employers, Brokers, Consultants and Members.
Top Daily responsibilities: Prioritizing and validating renewal results generated by quoting system.
What I am really looking for is highly motivated individuals that are very quick learners. Able to pay close attention to detail and manage multiple tasks. Strong MS Excel and general computer skills. 

REQUIREMENTS:

MS Excel, Word
Math/Statistics
Strong organizational skills (able to manage multiple tasks and priorities).
Min 1 year of experience or recent college graduate
A highly motivated individual interested in learning about the health care industry.
Ability to learn quickly and experience producing high quality work in short periods of time.
Analytical and detail oriented.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Aptitude to perform data and process analytics and formulating solutions
Proven ability to build effective working relationships as well as strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High School Diploma required, College Preferred
