Ultra Pure Water Technician

Yoh has a contract opportunity for an ULTRA-PURE WATER (UPW) TECHNICIAN to join our client in Portland, OR.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- UPW Technician will be responsible for Starting up UPW equipment under direction of system engineer.
- UPW Technician will also take UPW samples and performing routine analysis using test equipment.
- UPW Technician will also be operating UPW equipment and system using computer interface.
- Duties will also include loading/unloading UPW resin, RO membranes, filters, offloading liquid chemicals from tank trucks to bulk storage tanks, using forklifts/mobile elevated platforms/pallet jacks to move equipment and materials.
- Take routine direction from an assigned system engineer.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Two to three (2-3) years of specific UPW operations experience.
- Hazardous material/chemical handling training including use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Control of Hazardous Energies (CoHE) training.
- CPR/first aid training.
- Fall protection training.
- Ladder Safety training.
- Scissor lift/Mobile Elevated Work Platform training.
- Fork Lift and pallet jack training.
