UI/UX Designer

UI/UX DESIGNER.* CONTRACT ROLE 6 months.* DUBLIN

BA/BS degree in Design (eg interaction, graphic, visual communications, HCI) or a related field or equivalent practical experience
*8+ years of hands-on experience in a UX Lead Designer role designing outstanding, clean and usable interfaces
*Strong experience in User Experience techniques such as:
oUser Research
oRequirements gathering and understanding
oInformation Architecture
oVisual & Interaction Design
oPersona creation
oUser journeys
oSketching and Wire-framing
oPrototyping
oUsability/User testing
* Proficient in Adobe CS Suite package (Photoshop, Illustrator), strong visual design skills able to produce high-quality visuals from concept to execution, across many platforms
*Exposure to web and mobile User Interface Design, inclusive responsive design
*Exposure to UI frameworks and prototyping tools, good knowledge of HTML and CSS
* Excellent communication, team player and motivational skills
* Ability to act as a leader in communicating conceptual ideas and design rationale, all within a user-centred design process
* Strong problem solving skills, self-motivated to prioritize and manage workload and meet project deadlines
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships
* Experience working in agile environments such as SCRUM and exposure to Agile PM tools such as JIRA Agile, Confluence wiki
