UI Solutions Developer - .Net / MVC / Web / Windows Form Apps

A leading Investment Bank is expending their solutions team and are urgently seeking MVC UI Solutions Developers with experience in build and integrate Web and Windows Forms based applications using .Net C# or ASP to streamline organisational processes across the Bank's systems in Europe. They are seeking candidates who have worked in teams building .Net / Web / MVC / HTML/Javascript based Solutions.

The Role:

1. Develop new software solutions and enhance and maintain existing application portfolio.
2. Integrate/customise purchased software and build intranet based applications for Business departments.
3. Recommend solutions, built or purchased, to meet business needs. Provide consultancy to project team as subject expert.
4. Build generic tools and to support the IT function and provide integration with other applications around the Bank.

Essential:

Intranet/Internet based application development in .Net, HTML/Javascript.
Understanding how web servers work and how the applications run under IIS.
Experienced in all parts of the software development cycle. Worked in teams, building Web / MVC based Solutions.
Experience in developing in controlled and standardised environments.

Preferred:
Followed Waterfall development practices. Followed Agile development practices, particularly XP and SCRUM.
Good understanding of front and back office processes and systems.
Test Driven Development,
Microsoft development stack and SQL Server Skills.
Analysis and design, working to standards and to project deadlines. .
