- University Graduate.
- Testing Certification (eg ISEB)
- Test Management Tools (HP ALM/HP QC)

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
- A minimum of 4-5 years working with Clients. Have experience in dealing with business SMEs, test management, all aspects of implementation of projects and managing staff.
- 8 - 10 years overall IT test experience
MAIN RESPONSIBILITY
Co-ordinates and manages the User Acceptance Test effort and resources. Defines and implements the Test Strategy and Test Plan for the UAT phase and reports test progress to the test manager and wider project stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviews project documentation to determine cost effective/quality approach to testing UAT.
- Produces detailed estimates/dependencies/assumptions/test requirements.
- Clearly communicates test approach in relevant documentation and ensures that all requirements are traceable and agreed with the business
- Ensure all test collateral is of high standard and conforms to best practice.
- Effectively communicates with project stakeholders and business to get buy-in for test approach.
- Accountable for reporting on the quality of testing and business satisfaction.
- Gathers metrics and reports on test progress in terms of quality/schedule/budget to project management.
- Closely monitors and tracks risks/issues and works closely with project/programme team in the resolution of issues.
- Manages resource allocation (ramp-up/ramp-down) both from a test team and business perspective as well as communicating/delegating effectively with both teams.
- Maintains a high focus on emerging tools and technologies and applies this knowledge to test design. Acts as mentor to other test designers and test engineers.
- Prepares and presents post project review documents.
