Typo3 PHP Developer

We are currently searching for a Typo3 PHP developer to work in The Hague for 6 months + extensions. This is a fantastic contract opportunity for a large multi-national client.

The ideal candidate must have the following skills:

The main responsibilities of the Typo3 PHP Developer are to technically specify, implement and support systems, applications and frameworks related to Front End implementations in the Typo3 Portal and to extend these functionalities.

Development activities:
- Aid in definition of requirements for projects
- Aid in definition of message flows
- Investigate feasibility of requirements and estimate impact and effort
- Write and maintain formal technical specifications and technical documentation for applications, message bus, scripts, libraries, web-services and frameworks

Operational activities:
Estimate if potential requirements are feasible and if so, what effort would be involved, and discusses all of this with fellow team members, project managers and if needed with (internal) customers. Aid project managers eg in the specification of requirements and the definition of use cases. Perform operational tasks (which are spread over the team). Aid in performance tests, as and when applicable. Plan deliveries with the team leader and perform the actual delivery request. Research (potential) problems with applications deployed in a production environment by analysing and combining information from different sources, like access logs, application logs, etc.

Education: 
- Academic or bachelor background in technical/sciences area, preferably in Computer Science or with a strong emphasis on IT
- 2 - 5 years of relevant working experience in software development

Technical and/or Management Knowledge: 
- TYPO3 Certified Integrator 
- Good knowledge of/experience with TYPO3, TYPO3 Flow, XML, PHP (OOP), MySQL, XHTML, CSS 
- Knowledge of/experience with Windows and UNIX/Linux systems. 
- Experience with versioning systems (CVS/Bazaar)
