Tuxedo Consultant x2

TUXEDO Specialist required.

Must have 3 to 5 years of experience in using Oracle's Tuxedo product. The experience should cover design, configuration and deployment of a Tuxedo Domain and a range of Tuxedo application technologies (eg/Q, and domain to domain interactions).

The following mandatory skills are required:

- Able to design and create a Tuxedo Configuration and Tuxedo admin tools to deploy the configuration.
- Able to develop a Tuxedo application using a range of programming languages (ie C, JAVA and Microfocus Cobol).
- Able to build and deploy Tuxedo Servers that have been developed using C or Microfocus Cobol.
- Experience of supporting a Tuxedo application and use of Tuxedo support tools.
- Experience of Linux, including clustering and shared file systems.
- Experience of running and support a Tuxedo application that has been deployed to Linux 6.2 and above.
- Experience in the use of Shell Scripting languages (eg Bash).
- Can demonstrate the use of Tuxedo best practices, and design principles.

The following desirable skills are required:

- Strong communication skills, oral and written.
- Experience in the development and support of Complex Integration systems.
- Experience of working within a large multi skilled team.
- Some exposure to pattern based architecture (eg fire and forget, message to file).
- Some exposure to Oracle RDBMS product and its concepts and principles.
