My London based client is looking for a TUPE HR Advisor/Civil Service TUPE HR Advisor for a 6 month contract.

Skills needed for the TUPE HR Advisor/Civil Service TUPE HR Advisor:

*Experience of working in a HR team at a similar level;
*Experience of developing and running efficient HR processes;
*Experience of handling casework, using judgement to identify the best course of action;
*Organised and methodical, with the ability to plan and prioritise own/others activities and take action to address issues or risks that will affect delivery;
*A positive, proactive attitude to work and enthusiasm for developing your experience and capabilities as a HR professional in a change environment;
*The ability to work with minimal supervision in a highly pressurised and demanding environment;
*Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to confidently communicate with members of staff at all levels and an understanding of the needs of different audiences;
*Experience of minute taking (or a similar activity which demonstrated ability to take concise, comprehensive notes);
*Up-to-date knowledge of employment law; and
*Competent IT skills, in particularly using MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint

Ideally, though not essentially, you will also have:
*Full CIPD qualification;
*Experience of restructures, reorganisations and staff transfers in a public sector organisation (preferably in a Civil Service environment); and
*An understanding of project management tools and techniques.

The main responsibilities of the role

If you are successful, you will fully support the HR Transition managers in the delivery of the transition programme - for example, by:
odeveloping tools and processes to ensure staff consultations run smoothly and effectively;
oproviding robust guidance to staff/managers based on policies and procedures available, being able to effectively interpret HR policy, procedures and processes to all levels of the organisation;
odrafting correspondence and communications for the HR Transition managers;
osupporting the staff consultations, including being the first point of contact for any HR questions or matters that arise and responding to staff/manager queries in a timely and efficient way;
oproducing high quality minutes and notes of key meetings; and
