Treasury Manager - Financial Services - West Midlands

Robert Walters is currently engaged with a Financial Services client based in the West Midlands to recruit a Treasury Manager to take responsibility for the day to day running of the Treasury department, to include management of cashflow and risk as well as maintaining the Bank's liquidity position.

The Treasury Manager will work to develop treasury policies to exercise effective liquidity management, and ensure that liquidity is maintained within limits set, mainitain a strong working knowledge of ILAA, contingency funding plans, Risk, recovery and resolution and take responsibility for day to day management of profit rate and foreign exchange risk in accordance with ALCO directives. You will also take responsibility for developing and extending the banks relationships, negotiating inter-bank money market lines and standby facilities where appropriate and raising the bank's profile.

The Treasury Manager will have an extensive background of having run a Treasury department, ideally within a UK based bank and hold experience in all aspects of the UK money markets relating to deposits, Foreign Exchange and derivative products and be capable of developing new products to enhance performance. You will also have a thorough understanding of market and economic trends.
