TREASURY ARCHITECT - LIQUIDITY, CAPITAL MANAGEMENT, ALM

SUMMARY OF DEPARTMENT FOCUS

The Technology and Architecture Office is a department comprised of Enterprise and Solutions Architects which services clients within the Banking and Financial Services (BFS) Industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support the Lead Architect in the provision of a world-class Solutions Architecture service to Customers in the Banking & Financial Services (BFS) Industry.
- Actively contribute in identifying, selecting and aligning the services of the group with supporting tools, frameworks, processes, policies and standards that assist in the commoditisation of the provision of Solutions Architecture Consulting services to BFS Customers.
- Devise innovative approaches for delivering tailored solutions leveraging your technical competency and industry knowledge.
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with senior client personnel on all engagements.
- Identify/anticipate client needs above beyond individual project-level service relationships.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

Operational and practical experience of General IT service provision within a solutions architect role including ideally knowledge of:

- Applications Architecture and related domains
- Data Architecture and related domains
- EA Governance
- Process/SDLC/Execution Frameworks, Agile Lifecycle Management, Agile Architecture Delivery Support, TDM, MDA
- Project/Program Management and Execution eg Performance Mgt and Capacity Planning
- Experience of working with Architecture and Design Tools, Troux, Rational Suite and UML based tools in general.

ROLE SPECIFICS - SOLUTION ARCHITECT

- Project Size Experience:

Solutions Architect for a minimum of two projects with project budgets in excess of £1M and 2-10 architects.
- Architecture Complexity:

Ability to work with new technologies or to learn new technologies quickly. Adept at explaining complex concepts to audiences with confidence. Participate in the architecture governance process.
- Project Complexity:

Experience working across the whole organisation to deliver an outcome in high pressure business transformation environment.
- Stakeholder Skills:

Strong presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation. Demonstrates experience working with senior stakeholders

DOMAIN SPECIFICS - CORPORATE TREASURY

- Demonstrable Corporate Treasury Domain experience. 
- Experience working with Treasury products including Liquidity and Capital Management,  ALM, FTP and Treasury Execution Services.
- Understanding and awareness of regulatory changes affecting Treasury Operations, BCBS-239, Dodd Frank 145 as examples
- Experience working with COTS systems including Calypso, Sungard, QRM and Bankware, Oracle ALM highly desirable.
