Transmission (TX) Controller

Our leading broadcast client is looking for a Transmission (TX) Controller to work on an Ad Hoc basis.

Role Details:

You will be experienced in all aspects of the multichannel environment. You will also be capable of running live events using incoming feeds from either an on-site studio or from an Outside Broadcast Environment. Following the appropriate training you will be skilled in the management of 24hr Live Sports and News services and aware of the compliance considerations associated with live broadcasting.

You will be responsible for the accurate preparation of automation schedules and the follow up of any potential issues identified. In a breakdown or fault situation you will take the appropriate actions to restore service in the most efficient manner or minimise customer impact. You will escalate via the agreed paths when necessary and ensure all incident details are reported accurately to allow effective follow-up.

PLEASE NOTE:

- This role will be working a mix of Day and Night shifts for which the first 8 will include training
- This role is on an Ad Hoc basis
- Candidates must be prepared to travel as you will be working at the client site in West London and Southampton
