Transmission Solution Architect

Urgently seeking a highly experience Solution Architect in the field of TX Planning to join NRO program to upgrade the existing 2G and 3G to one with 385 new LTE sites.

This will require the installation or expansion of microwave transmission links.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- The timely update and delivery of the Transmission Plan
- Transmission capacity management
- Delivery of the DCN design and implementation.
- Transmission Planning team deliverables such as link engineering, link work-packs, circuiting work-packs & fixed-link licensing.

FOR FIBRE HEAD-OF-CLUSTER (HOC) SELECTION:

- Act as key customer contact for all Transmission Planning and Design issues.
- Provide technical support to Transmission Project Manager.
- Ensuring the Transmission Plan adheres to the agreed Design Rules and Guidelines.
- Manage the Transmission Line of Sight (LOS) ASP's scope of work and program activity according to the agreed contract and SLA's.
- Ensure competent and adequate Planning, Design and ASP resources are engaged to deliver the programmes aims.
- Identify issues, propose solutions and assign actions to ensure the agreed Transmission Plan is achieved.
- Provide the Transmission Implementation Lead with a timely, high-level BOM & written and/or verbal reports on project progress and compliance with KPIs for internal and external stakeholders.
