Project Manager, Transition Manager, SAP Basis, Infrastructure.
Project Manager/Transition Manager with SAP Basis skills required to work in Budapest - only English speaking is required.
Project start date: 1st September until 31st July-2015.
Rates:
These are open to negotiation, they will depend on how much knowledge & experience you can bring to this role.
Background of role:
A SAP cloud services support is being set up for the customer to be based out of Budapest. The client is looking for a Project manager/Transition Manager to manage the entire project management and transition activities for SAP from its Budapest office.
Tasks/Performance targets:
To Create and execute project work plans and timelines and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Identify resources needed and work with all stakeholders to assign individual responsibilities.
Opens jobs/creates change orders.
Provide appropriate job specifications.
Effectively communicates relevant project information to relevant stakeholders and team.
Conveys project changes and updates to appropriate team members.
Prepares regular status reports and distributes internally and externally if necessary.
Holds regular status meeting with project team and stakeholders.
Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
Manages both internal and external approvals.
Experience:
Project management with Infrastructure project experience.
Experience with managing transition including recruitment, setting up interviews, follow up and co-ordination and on-boarding.
Planning and execution for transition activities including knowledge transfer planning preparation, execution, shadow run and steady state.
IT skills:
Knowledge of SAP Basis.
Prior experience in handling complex transitions with tight timelines.
Understanding of setting up an Infrastructure Operations centre.
Other requirements (eg. Mobility): There may be a few travels for projects reviews and/or for transition related topics.

Depending on performance and assignment outcome, associate can take up higher responsibilities in the organizations in other areas or functions.
