The successful candidate will have considerable and proven experience within a large multi-national outsourcing organisation specifically in the tasks of business engagement, transition management, programme integration and business excellence. This is a key vendor facing role with responsibility for ensuring that large transitions across multiple geographies are successfully managed from inception to close with no interruption to contractual SLA's, operational activities or business delivery. Ideally the candidate will have gained experience within network operations environment combined with excellent project management/transition skills.

This role will be responsible for successfully on-boarding and integrating existing and new business activities from current to new vendor relationships within the scope of the agreed contract(s). The role requires an individual to lead sizable transitions from inception to full operation without impact to overall business delivery. Significant project management, business acumen and contract interpretation is required.

• Manage the seamless transition of multiple finance activities within an outsourcing context (client to outsourcer or vendor to outsourcer relationships). Activities will vary in complexity from transactional to complex. Transition may also be simultaneous across multiple geographies depending on the nature of the transition
• Successfully manage seamless knowledge transfer of all activities within challenging timelines often across multiple geographies
• Manage transition of any associated 3rd party contracts or supplier where needs arise
• Work with operational and functional experts to understand fully the business impacts to mitigate risks during transition period
• Raise and report risks (Contractual/Tactical/Operational/Strategic)
• Take full responsibility for the virtual management of the wider transition team involving additional project management resource, internal technical and lead vendor communication on firming up SLA's, Transition Plan, Ramp Planning in conjunction with the vendor
• Coordinate and manage the communication plans as per requirements of the transition project
• Drive execution of the Governance Model proposed and agreed upon with the vendor
• Produce detailed project plans to manage interdependencies
• Ensure strict commercial change control to manage deviations
• Adhere to relevant escalation processes to escalate resource issues, delayed project phases, missed deadlines and other planning issues
• Ensure commercial project milestones are agreed and published and that relevant internal parties are aware of the dates
• Ensure all HR transitional activities are completed as per original plans
• Create and effectively manage the stakeholders, incorporating all project work-streams
• Monitor the programme/project ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner and the appropriate corrective actions are implemented
• Review the outcomes of the Service Transition Projects to determine any corrective actions that could be taken to improve future delivery in terms of cost, quality

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Degree Qualification
• Project Management qualification with strong evidence of successful completion of complex projects
• Strong overall industry experience, with in-depth experience in Transition Network Operations Business
• Ideally candidate will have gained experience within an O&M environment (having gained experience in completing at least 1 complete transition cycle)
• Strong communications skills (both written and verbal) influences with diplomacy and possesses a strong ability to persuade and influence vendor and stakeholder relationships
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build and maintain productive lasting relationships, in challenging situations, with diverse people spanning across internal and external organisations (vendor, 3rd party)
• Demonstrable experience and capability to manage projects autonomously
• Strong leadership skills to lead and manage globally, culturally diverse teams across geographies
• Experience of leading, direct or matrix, project managers, technical resource and other resource assigned to Transition projects
• Commercial experience in the management of projects to budgetary constraints and where effective commercial change control has been incorporated
