In the context of a major carve-out we are looking for a Transition Delivery Lead to support on the following:
Job Purpose
? Work with IT Transition Manager to implement Service Transition Roadmap
? Work with the project Release and Country Management to plan and implement a Transition to Run process for moving project outcomes for local applications into operations.
? Work with the organization to ensure transition of global applications according to decommissioning plan.
Key Performance Indicators
? Transition Roadmap is maintained and kept up to date, clearly communicated and governed in a way that empowers and involves key stakeholders and enables risk mitigation and issue resolution
? Transition to Run process is robust, effective and well used and transition happens with the minimum disruption to the business
? Achievement of To-Be Target Outcomes
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
? Manage the delivery of approved outcomes of local applications in conjunction with Release management and country management.
? Manage the relationship with any/all approved third party suppliers engaged to provide services in the fulfillment of the transition plans.
? Maintain the Transition Roadmap affecting the sites and operations to define the ongoing and future activities within the transition scope
? Lead the implementation of the Transition Roadmap.
? Report into the IT Transition Head as a conduit for information, escalation and problem solving.
? Ensure that the final delivery of transition meets the agreed customer and stakeholder requirements
KEY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
? At least 5 years experience in project management and the implementation of IT projects
? Experience in managing IT service transition/organization transformation
? Ability to understand the transition characteristics, scope, impact, and risks of each initiative and to build transition plans and execute against the plan
? Ability to consistently apply the transition processes to each IT/service transition
? Familiarity with relevant service models (ITIL/Cobit) would be advantageous
? Multiple vendor management in a complex multi site environment.
? Multinational background required & large global project experience
? Fluent in English
? Some travel might be required to other sites worldwide
