Training Specialist

Role - Technical Trainer (financial services)
Contract - 3 months
Location - Solihull, West Midlands

Technical Trainer required initially a 3 month contract for my client in Solihull, West Midlands.

As the Technical Trainer you will design, develop and deliver internal training and technical training.
Design, author and customise online user guides for multiple clients covering the full range of financial systems.

Experience of developing and delivery of software product training for Financial Services customers. Instructional aptitude with a mixture of strong technical and interpersonal client facing skills
Exceptional presentation skills, strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service orientation, enthusiasm for software products
Excellent judgment in applying training technologies appropriately based on needs of customers and content of course
Proven ability to quickly learn all aspects of technical software product
Experience developing and delivering training for Client Server architectures
Highly organised to effectively handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment, yet flexible enough to respond quickly to critical issues
Demonstrated ability to work on your own initiative, collaboratively and cross-organisationally
Skilled in developing and maintaining key professional and customer relationships
Ability to travel to customer sites to deliver training with IT equipment.
Professional qualification in education, communication or technology-related studies
Extensive experience of developing/delivering training, and measuring results

Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, training technologies
Good knowledge of Microsoft Products (Excel and MS Project)

Desirable:
Bachelor's degree in education, communication or technology-related studies
Experience in preparing and updating user manuals.
Knowledge and experience of systems testing.
