TRAINING MANAGER REQUIRED BY LEADING RETAIL BANK TO WORK ON A PAYMENTS PROJECT. THE ROLE IS UNTIL DECEMBER 2013 INITIALLY AND BASED IN GLASGOW.

PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAMME

- The Programme is looking to deliver a new transactional banking Core Platform

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

- The Training Manager is responsible for identifying, planning, preparing and delivering any training required to Global Payments (GP) colleagues relating to the Core Platform Transformation project.
- Conduct training needs analysis for GP colleagues.
- Manage overall colleague training plan for the GP elements of the workstream.
- Liaise with training managers to ensure GP training and approach are aligned to the wider training approach and plan
- Prepare appropriate training materials in line with existing guidelines and principles.
- Work with the Implementation Manager, Project manager and business stakeholders to identify impacted colleagues and assess training needs as appropriate.
- Work with the Global Payments governance bodies to ensure all training adheres to the appropriate standards and to ensure appropriate sign offs are received.
- Ensure that the training plan and timeline is available to and understood by the Global Payments business and governance bodies.
- Ensure training is delivered the appropriate audience on time.
- Produce status updates to the Implementation Manager and business stakeholders
- Work with the communications manager to form the picture of the Global Payments Colleague journey.
- Issue updates on completion of key training milestones

CORE SKILLS

- Production of training plans and approaches
- Conducting Training Needs Analysis
- Working with business and wider stakeholders to produce and shape training materials
- MI reporting around training
- Ensuring training adheres to guidelines and standards and ensuring that all project team members are aware of and adhere to these standards.
- Delivery of training to appropriate audiences.
- Experience of training design and delivery on large scale transformation programmes

DESIRABLE SKILLS

- Experience on projects within the Financial Sector.
- Experience working in Electronic Payments.
