Training Manager (Insurance Sector) 6 months initial Contract
Company: Leading name in the London Insurance market

Overview:
Training Manager to be part of an established, highly visible programme with the goal of providing an efficient and robust Policy and Placement Solution for a leading UK insurance client. The Training Manager role will focus on the business change and implementation workstreams and will create strategic partnerships with business representatives in an effort to provide creative solutions aligned with the project objectives and strategy.

Some Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
*Operate as a hands-on experienced Training Project Manager who drives forward the training plan from strategy through delivery, lessons learned, and business hand over.
*Identify training needs and design a customised training strategy through analysis and collaboration with the existing programme team, business sponsors, and human resources (HR).
*The ability to identify and deliver certainty in an often challenging and ambiguous environment.
*Used to challenging, where appropriate, at all levels up to the senior managers, to ensure a clear view on the desired business outcome and a timely focus on the project issues.
*Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written to communicate with different levels of staff and understand the correct sequence of their processes.
*Excellent writing and reporting skills.

*Very strong analytical skills in order to understand the business needs and formulate recommendations. Can present complex information in an easily understood format so as to provide clarity for effective decision making.

*Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.

*Proven ability to work with and influence at all levels.
Professional Knowledge and Functional Knowledge:
*Project Management Methodology (PMI, Prince 2)
*Additionally, the role holder will make extensive use of advanced Project Management skills that can only be gained after a number of years.
*Experience working with business process models and process design/re-design such as SixSigma, PDCA, Lean and project methodologies.
