TRAINING DATA ANALYST

JOB DESCRIPTION:

- Interprets results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining.
- Designs, develops, implements and maintains business solutions.
- Works directly with clients and project and business leaders to identify analytical requirements. Requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty and 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

- Excellent experience compiling and reporting data with Excel and/or Access
- Experience working with Business Intelligence to data review and scrub information prior to report generation
- Experience with the development of PowerPivot that includes the creation of calculated fields
- Strategic planning of training related analysis
- Defining and analysing the training statistics
- Researching market data
- Analysis and presentation of prospect data
- 1-2 years of business analysis experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
- Highly proficient in planning, integration and application of multiple technologies
- Exceptional discipline with regard to time management is imperative
- Ability to analyze large sets of data, synthesize results and draw logical conclusions
- Be able to explain what the data looks like
- Create pivot tables-Power Pivot is preferred
- Create reports
- Create categories
- Create very well calculated fields and create categories
- Preferred experience with an LMS or training related application for tracking
