TRAINING ADMINISTRATOR

MY CLIENT, A LEADING DEFENCE ORGANISATION BASED IN CHELTENHAM IS URGENTLY SEEKING AN EXPERIENCED TRAINING ADMINISTRATOR TO JOIN THEIR TEAM FOR A MINIMUM OF 3 MONTHS WITH POTENTIAL FOR EXTENSION. THIS IS A FULL TIME ROLE WORKING 37 HOURS PER WEEK.

AS A MEMBER OF THE CEO EXCELLENCE TEAM, THIS ROLE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ORGANISATION OF TRAINING COURSES AND WORKSHOPS ALONG WITH PREPARATION OF EXCEL SPREADSHEETS AND POWERPOINT SLIDE DECKS IN SUPPORT OF THE TEAM'S PROCESS, COMMUNICATION AND TRAINING ACTIVITIES.

* Arranging training dates with suppliers

* Inviting internal delegates through Microsoft Outlook

* Co-ordinating room bookings and refreshments

* Preparation of Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint slide decks to support CEO Excellence activities

* General team co-ordination activities

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Strong organisational and logistics skills

* Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint and general office procedures.

* Good standard of education, preferably with GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade C or above, or ability to demonstrate excellent numeracy skills.

* Experience in working in a complex business environment would be beneficial.

Ability to assist the set up of laptops for training courses (eg network connections, software install)

* An effective and flexible team player with the ability to work well under pressure.

* Attention to detail and accuracy are essential
