Currently our very high-visibility client is seeking a Developer to take content of training and edit, organize, and format it to be instruction ready. Candidates must have Instructional Design experience and also have experience with Oracle's User Productivity Kit (UPK release 11.1 or higher). S/He will integrate material into UPK and develop additional content into UPK.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Create simulations and job aids for an online request and workflow tool, utilizing Oracle's User Productivity Kit (UPK Release 11.1 or higher) and UPK Knowledge Center
- Develop training curriculum for delivery of new content to new/existing users
- Edit, standardize or make changes to material prepared by other writers or other personnel
- Facilitate review and approval process for training materials
- Organize material according to set standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style and terminology to achieve instruction-ready state
- Maintain records and files of work and revisions
- Work collaboratively with other content developers

REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's degree required
- 5-7 years customer service related experience required
- Must have Instructional Design experience
- Experience developing training content and simulations using Oracle's User Productivity Kit (UPK release 11.1 or higher)
- Experience with curriculum development and general corporate training requirements a plus
- Experience in instructional design in developing training course curriculum
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
- Knowledge of media production, communication and dissemination techniques and methods
- Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects
- Must be able to work independently
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time

TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:

- Oracle User Productivity Kit, 3+ years
- Technical Writing, 5+ years
