LEARNING DEVELOPMENT/TRAINING MANAGER- Sheffield 280 day, Education department.

DUTIES:
Gain an in-depth understanding of the organisations training objectives in order to effectively design and develop a range of training programmes which champion the business values and add value to the organisation.
Monitor and review training outcomes to ensure knowledge is effectively Embedded and utilised in accordance with learning objectives.
Deliver training in both a formal and informal setting, producing relevant course materials and documents.
Share best practice and resources in training, learning and assessments, conducting train the trainer sessions if required.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRed:
Experience of undertaking training needs analysis
Experience of planning and running training programmes
Excellent interpersonal skills
Knowledge of different training methods including on-the-job knowledge transfer
Analytical skills
Experience of cost profiling training options
Organised and excellent time management skills
Complete familiarity with standard Microsoft office tools including MS Project and MS Excel Experience of ICT driven change programmes
Ability to lead a strand of work, acting independently with appropriate communication with Business Change and overall project team

Person attributes:
Desirable Understanding of DfE users and potential changes SPDP will bring
Experience of learning models such as ADDIE
Experience of DfE learning offerings
Experience of training requirements for data warehouse management
Experience of training requirements for portal management
EXPERIENCE OF WORKING IN A EDUCATIONAL SECTOR IS ESSENTIAL
