Train Controls Requisition Engineer

Yoh has an exciting contract opportunity for a TRAIN CONTROLS REQUISITION ENGINEER to join our client in Erie, PA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and design interface documentation for Electrical and Mechanical integration teams.
- Support Manufacturing on any issues that comes up related to train control area.
- Design, integrate, implement and validate Train Controls subsystem functions, Human Machine Interface for locomotive, suitable for application in both English and non-English speaking environments.
- Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.
- Lead/Support investigation, root-cause identification, and resolution of reliability issues.
- Interact with internal and external customers, vendors, and industry agencies.
- Provide technical leadership to personnel supporting the assigned project.
- Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- BS Degree required, Electrical, Computer or Systems degree preferred. Advanced degree preferred.
- Three (3) years experience in a controls position.
- Highly desired: experience in a Train Controls position.
- Must have Excellent Troubleshooting skills.
- Must have excellent communication and customer support skills.
