Trade Control Analyst - Products

Key Responsibilities - - Keep detailed track of crude availabilities, equity and term oil. - Report timely and accurate the daily market exposure and profit- Provide routine analyses of book performance to the vessel charters and traders; - Spot and remedy any problems with relevant data (transaction, market or reference data); - Monitor vessel charters and traders' adherence against their delegated authority - Guarantee compliance for trading procedures with relevant controls; Candidate Specification - - Strong academic middle-office experience in a similar role in an oil trading company; - Experience of financial hedging on oil- Knowledge on risk measure in physical trading; - Knowledge of vessel chartering or trading in physical oil and products; - Knowledge of control processes applicable in a trading / regulated environment; - Familiarity with asset commercial performance measurement concepts; - Familiarity with the calculation of Risk and use of VAR in an oil trading company would be an advantage; - Good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite - Knowledge of one or more of IT systems would be an advantage (Openlink, Zainet, ICTS).
