Tivoli Administrator Job

TIVOLI ADMINISTRATOR needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Suitland, MD.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Experience with IBM's Tivoli tool suite
- Experience with Unix and/or Linux
- Strong interpersonal and excellent teamwork skills.
- A self-motivated, task-oriented, and creative individual with the ability to solve problems.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Support system operators by maintaining COTS SW applications to ensure configuration and performance as designed
- Configure, integrate, and test changes to OTS software applications.
- Installation, integration, configuration, licensing, patching, and maintenance of COTS Software applications supporting data processing systems at multiple sites.
- Ability to resolve complex problems between OTS software applications
- Ability to interface with customer while working at the customer's facility
- Patch and version upgrade evaluation, planning and installation
- Adherence to policies, procedures and controls especially in regard to outage and change management, licensing, and information protection

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Strong working knowledge of systems monitoring, and COTS software applications performing automated system discovery.
- Support of audit requests for information 15 + years
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience)

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Experience with the following OTS software applications is a plus:
- Scripting
- LDAP
- Network applications
- Database applications (eg, Oracle)
- PKI
- Windows Server
- QNX
