Title Programmer Job

GAMING FRONT END PROGRAMMER needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in San Diego, CA.

What You'll Be Doing:

- In this role you will support and enhance existing tools and in-game user interface features, adding new functionality and features as needed. Your tasks will be assigned and supervised by the more senior programmers on the project, and you will be required to work within the guidelines set by those programmers.
- Maintain and enhance proprietary, in-house user interface tools and in-game code
- Develop new, proprietary, in-house user interface tools and in-game code
- Asset conversion among platforms
- Provide support to user interface artists
- Troubleshoot issues, finding and implementing solutions

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

- Typically requires four to seven (4-7) years of related IT experience within a technical discipline.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent work experience.
- Two (2) plus years of programming experience in C++
- Previous experience collaborating on a team
- Basic understanding of baseball
- Experience with 2D/3D Graphics
- Two (2) plus years of programming experience with C#
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM
- Motivated self-starter*
- Passion for video games and sports
- Experience building user interfaces
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure, in a fast-paced and dynamically changing environment
- Detail oriented, and organized
- Good communication skills
