TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY IN FOLLOWING TOOLS:
- TIBCO BusinessWorks, EMS, Administrator, Designer, iProcess, and Business Studio, PL/SQL knowledge (Oracle 10g/11g), UNIX, Java, SVN
- Knowledge of Active BPM an advantage
- Experience in connecting to TeraData and MQ Messaging an advantage
- Knowledge in job schedulers such as $U, Tidal an advantage
- Knowledge in other databases like SQL Server is an added advantage
NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS
- Domain knowledge in financial services
- Attention to quality and detail
- A history of working to tight project schedules and delivering successfully
- Motivated, enthusiastic individual with ability to work on own initiative
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to grasp and work with financial and newly developed in-house applications as well as overall understanding of system development life cycles
- Comfortable working alongside both business users and IT technical staff
- Customer and results focused
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Assign tasks to team members and manage delivery within agreed timescales
- Own and control task execution within own development team & ensure quality deliverables
- Review estimates of development effort
- Proactively liaise with Pioneer development leads
- Develop new applications, ensuring compliance with Pioneer development standards, methodologies and frameworks
- Modification & enhancement of existing programs.
- Unit testing of the developed/modified programs
- Ensure compliance with Pioneer's change and release management processes
- Undertake impact analysis as needed
- Respond & escalate to reported production issues.
- Coordination with QA team in relation to testing and defect management
- Delivery & Status Reporting
- Prepare technical documentation about applications developed
- Align with Pioneer management about possible schedule deviation as a result of
o Resource shortage
o Tight time frame
o Application/environment etc. issues
o Modified/changed requirements
o Adhere to the quality guidelines
o Daily update discussions with Pioneer development leads
