TIBCO DEV ENGINEER

For one of my globally leading banking clients I am urgently looking for a Tibco Dev Engineer for a long project in Leeuwarden with some travel to Amsterdam.

The successful Tibco Dev Engineer will have a major role in development and testing of one or more high-tech applications of onboarding of new customers. You will be responsible for developing and supporting applications/tools for the my clients business partners with 7*24 availability.

With experience of Tibco development you are specialized in creating and maintaining applications written in Tibco and the role it plays in the relationship with the customer and my clients services and risk control.

The team uses the Scrum methodology and Continuous Delivery Engineering practices, so having n understanding is essential.

YOUR MAIN TASKS WILL BE:

* Develop and maintain Tibco services.
* Perform risk and security analysis (secure code review).
* Functional and Non Functional Testing (automated using RIT)
* Deployments and related administrative tasks.
* Maintaining the Operational Control Board.
* Maintaining the CMDB.
* Support on Tibco services.
* Develop, optimize and implement monitoring tools.
* You actively participate in the Scrum process and in Continuous Delivery Engineering Practices. You will play a positive role with your DevOps team growing the experience and knowledge within your team.
* You actively participate in a Chapter.

Technical Role Requirements:

Completed a bachelor's or master's degree in a technical IT study or a comparable education.

Knowledge of and experience with:

* Working according to the Agile/Scrum method as well as with the DevOps method and ITIL;
* Tibco BW development, EMS;
* Java is a pre;
* Testing tools (eg RIT, Loadrunner);
* Continuous Delivery tooling (eg Maven, Nolio, Jenkins, GIT);
* Experience with working with Chain Monitoring environment (Logstash, Kibana, Grafana); Also, you are fluent in English, spoken and in writing. Dutch is a pre. Competencies - Mind set & Behavior
* Awareness of the customer chain. Looking further then your own piece of the chain.
* Pro-active, willing to take responsibility.
* Analytic with translation to action plans
* Knowledge of developments in the market IT, CD eg
* Flexible

The working location is Amsterdam, but you must be prepared to incidentally travel to Leeuwarden.

CONTRACT: 30th June 2018 + Likely extension
