THERMAL RESEARCH SPECIALIST, DESIGN, CONCEPT PORTFOLIO, COOLING AND THERMAL SOLUTIONS
eCRM Euro are currently looking for a Senior Thermal Research specialist for a new Engineering competence centre in Sweden, to take on the challenge to design and compare our future cooling concepts, on detailed design level and on system level.
We expect this specialist to be responsible for a management of technology studies in the electronic cooling design area
The position will also include responsibility of Thermal analysis of various telecom equipment incl requirement specification analyses.
The work will be done in very close cooperation with our system design teams in Europe
Essential Skills required (as many from list below):
We expect the candidate to have more than 8-12 years experiences on thermal design of telecom equipment or equivalent and that this have given the candidate a thorough and deep understanding of cooling of electronics and a wide experience of CFD programs like Ice Pack, Flotherm, etc
We also expect an understanding of conceptual design of equipment and comparison of various thermal solutions in both the cost and the functionality perspective.
For this position we value understanding of the 'platform, concept and product portfolio' discussions that take place during the initial phases of a product life cycle.
The candidate can of course communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing
We require Masters or most likely a PhD in thermal engineering or equivalent background
We believe that this individual have several patents and have produced several international papers. We also believe that Experience of cooperation's with different universities is a natural part of this person's competence.
